Out with the old...

You may have noticed a lot is missing from my blog.  This blog didn't start out depressing, but totally ended up that way.  It was allowing me to dwell in the unhappy side of my emotions and I just want to "shake it off" and dwell in all the joy I have!  No more "here comes Debbie Downer" on my site.  Yep, I'll express my emotions, good or bad, but I'm choosing not to make the negative a focus of my live (ergo, my blog).  I also am not going to do giveaways anymore, Sorry!  I may still enter them to try and win Christmas presents (worked out awesome last year- I even won a stroller!), but I'm done with the gimme-gimme's too.  I have more than enough in my life.

Plus, I have so exciting stuff coming up in the next few months with church-goings-ons that I can't wait to share with you as that gets going.

So to start the joy, today I am thankful for:
Little girl pigtails.  Seeing such a teeny, happy face under high pigtails when I got home from my (new) job it made my whole day.   It was awesome!

What are you thankful for today?

VBS 2011 Scrappin'

Well... looks like that "steady internet" was a bust, I've been having to use my phone which I can barely type an appropriate sentence on.  My fingers and brain were made for a real, physical keyboard I think!

We just finished Vacation Bible School and it was so exciting and maybe just a teensy bit stressful.  Though, it shouldn't have been, I gave that all to myself.  Once I "let go and let God" everything went so smoothly!  Best part of the whole week was when 17 kiddos accepted Christ!  Pray that they are able to affect change in others, especially their families, and that they have the strength to hold true to their beliefs!

Every night when i came home I was so pumped that I had to digi-scrap all of the Hubb's pictures.  He's getting better and better all the time!  So I wanted to share with you a few of the pages.  Look at it like a child did it, so you can be impressed :) And these aren't all of them, just-a-some.

This is the final page-thing.  I just wanted to show the shadows of some of the "wanted" posters that are in there,

My how they've grown!

With all my absenteeism I noticed the last pictures of my kiddos was from Halloween!  While Halloween was awesome and so much fun, they have really grown since then.

The Hubbs' birthday is this week so I took Little Man and Little Miss to the mall for some portraits.  Normally I use a photographer, but funds are low.  So here they are!
